Anthony Moore

I started my training in perfusion back in 1985 at the Royal Infirmary where I just managed to see a couple of bubble oxygenators used before a complete move over to membranes. I have worked here ever since, first in the old S2 theatre and now in theatres 3 and 4.

As Perfusion Manager, I'm responsible for the day-to-day running of our department. This includes ensuring that there is a perfusionist to cover each cardiac operation, that stock levels are adequate and that a good working relationship is maintained between the perfusionists and the rest of the cardiac team.

These pages have been created by me so I apologise for any slow updates!
