• replacement procedure for failing blood gas exchange device (oxygenator)
• treatment for massive air embolus in patient
• change out of vortex head
• removal of air emboli in vortex head
• power failure to vortex head
• change out of arterial filter
• management of electrical power failure
• replacement of hard shell venous reservoir
