Tommy Muirhead

Tommy joined our team on the very day that was indeed, a fresh start for all of us: April 1st 1991. The new theatre complex was put into use and all perfusion staff became employed by North West Perfusion.

As Evaluation Officer, Tommy keeps in touch with new developments in perfusion equipment and technique. Working closely with his colleagues and the cardiac medical staff, he comes to a decision about the benefits any new item or method would bring to both patient and perfusionist.
